History of the Breed: Developed in southern Georgia in the Alapha River region in the 1800's. The Alapha Blue Blood Bulldog
was used on plantations as watchdogs and livestock dogs.
General Appearance: A sturdy muscular dog with a square powerfully built frame. This breed is alert, intelligent, and very protective.
