History of the Breed: ACD were bred to herd cattle in Australia's inhospitable environment by nipping at their heels.
The original Thomas Hall dogs were created by crossing Blue Smooth Highland Collies with Dingos. In the 1870s Bull Terrier was added to
the blood line.
